i played a similar build in ca for a while and it actually worked really well prvided there was a monk to heal the disease that might get spread to your team. Its especially nice if there happens to be a mes with fragility.

Too bad you can't skull crack and virulence at the same time. Might actually make skull crack worth something.

Which surprised me since condition removal should have owned them, i guess it just overwhelmed the monks.
So here are the basic ideas:
w/n
sever
gash
hamstring
virulence
rez sig
that one death skill that uses a corpse for large hp gain, without transporting you
flurry/frenzy
savage slash
the build I actually saw was more like this:
r/n
throw dirt
pin down
virulence
hunter's shot
savage shot
rez sig
hp gainer
concussion shot
the bottom build I ran soon after, and it had a few problems, but the two times I managed to virulence over dazed were just *mmmmm*.

LOL I have been playing something like that R/N the last few days in Comp Arena. My version went:
Pin Down
Hunters Shot
Savage or Distracting Shot (your choice)
Throw Dirt
Plague Touch
Whirling Defense
Consume Corpse
Res Sig
The warrior virulence I see alot in Comp Arena.

Do be careful with a build like that. If the enemy has a prot monk, casting Virulence is just going to help them. Unless you can get lucky with a Distracting Shot on the Mend Ailment.

The only time I have an issue with a monk in Comp Arena is when there are 2 competent monks, which most people have problems with. Vs a single monk it generally isn't an issue with a decent group of players.

Virulence is alright if you are somewhat goofing off in RA. You can't make a very strong build with it outside of RA, but it can perform okay there. Use plague touch with it if you play a warrior. If you transfer the disease back to the target you cast virulence on you will not be diseased again unless you go a distance away from that target and return.
I sometimes run this build for fun:
11+1+3 Sword
10+1 Strength
10 Death
Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Rush
Plague Touch
Virulence
Rez sig
Again not really optimized or worth taking out of RA. However it can sort of work if you want to waste some time.
